Site work and paving for a civil project in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of June 26, 2024, Bid has been cancelled. No definite date for the rebid.** The project consists primarily of the milling & resurfacing, full depth reconstruction and installation of sanitary sewer main in High Ridge Road and Long Ridge Road. The project will also include the installation of drainage structures and drainage piping. Quantities will be provided prior to the start of construction. Major estimated quantities are as follows: Hot Mix Asphalt Milling, 3" or less 3,600 S.Y. HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course 1,300 Tons HMA 19M64 Base Course 1,900 Tons Granite Block Curb 5,500 LF 15, 18, 21 and 24-inch RCP Storm Pipe 1,600 LF 3-inch SDR 21 Sanitary Sewer Pipe 3,355 LF The Specifications as amended in Section 108.11 indicates that this Contract provides one hundred twenty (120) days for substantial completion of the work. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, must be submitted by the bidder. The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond of the responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The Township of Parsippany Troy Hills reserves the right to waive informalities on bids and to reject any and all bids, if deemed in the best interest of the Township to do so.
