The objective of the Dam Safety Review (DSR) is to assess and evaluate the safety of the Jensen Dam and its appurtenant structures, including identification of dam safety deficiencies, non-conformances, and operations, maintenance and surveillance (OMS) issues, along with recommendations for remediation and risk mitigation / management. In general, the DSR shall comply with the requirements of the: Scope of Work and timelines as outlined in the attached Terms of Reference; Water (Ministerial) Regulation (253/2018) - Part 6; Alberta Canal and Dam Safety Directive 2018; Alberta Dam Safety Management Plan - Standards Document Dam Safety best practices, including Canadian Dam Association (CDA) Guidelines and Technical Bulletins. In case there is a conflict in the requirements, the Water (Ministerial) Regulation and Alberta Dam and Canal Safety Directive shall take precedence. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
