Transportation Center Renovations Project Contract No. 2024-1 General Construction - estimated value of $730,000 Contract No. 2024-2 Plumbing Construction - estimated value of $470,000 Contract. No. 2024-3 HVAC Construction - estimated value of $70,000 Contract No. 2024-4 Electrical Construction - estimated value of $390,000 A certified check, payable to the CITY OF ALTOONA, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) ofthe bid. shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Insurance Certificates and Performance and Payment Bonds and Maintenance Bond. The Notice to Proceed will be issued on or about July 10, 2024. The construction period is 180 consecutive calendar days. No Bidder may withdraw' a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date ofthe opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within die specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the CITY OF ALTOONA and the Bidder. The CITY OF ALTOONA reserves the right to accept, or reject any or all bids.
