Site work and paving for a civil project in Maple Valley, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes clearing and grubbing, roadway7 excavation, stormwater conveyance, stormwater treatment, stormwater detention facilities, water main construction, joint, utility7 trench work, paving with HMA and/or concrete, planing, irrigation systems, erosion control, curb/gutter, sidewalk, retaining walls, traffic control, pavement marking, illumination system, and landscaping during construction. The Work shall be completed, within 250 working days from the date ofNotice to Proceed, in which the City is prepared to issue as soon as June 17, 2024. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of such bid proposal, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the Contract Documents, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Maple Valley. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to make the award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the City.
