Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
In general, the work consists of the renovation of 3 toilet/shower buildings and 2 flush toilet facilities at Peninsula State Park. All interior fixtures, finishes, partitions, mechanicals, electrical, and floor slab will be removed and reconstructed. New building layouts will provide accessible toilets and showers as well as family restrooms in 4 of the buildings. Lateral water lines and sewer laterals will be replaced. This project is a State of WI- Department of Natural Resources project and seeks the participation of certified MBE, WBE and DVB contractors and suppliers. The scope of work includes but is not limited to sitework, demolition, masonry, structural steel, roofing, joint sealants & firestopping, and interior finishes - including stud framing & drywall, paint, flooring, ceilings. We are willing to break up scopes of work into smaller portions to accommodate participation and to make it easier for bidders to find a fit on this project. For example, separating the drywall hanging and finishing, or separating the curb & gutter from the sidewalk, etc. A bid bond prepared on the Bid Bond Form bound herein, payable to the State in the amount not less than 10% of the maximum bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee. A bank certified check or a cashier's check may accompany each bid as a guarantee pursuant to Wis. Stat. s. 779.14(1m)(c)2.b. and 779.14(1s). Failure to enter into the contract with the state (including failure to obtain certificate of insurance and separate 100% performance and 100% payment bonds) may result in forfeiture of the Bid Bond. The company issuing the Bonds must be licensed to do business in Wisconsin.
