The City of Richfield is seeking a construction manager at risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction and construction services for construction of a new Wood Lake Nature Center facility including approximately 4,000 square feet of building removal and the construction of a 19,000 square foot space to include classroom and event space, museum exhibits, public lobby and lounge, rentals, staff and building support spaces, and covered outdoor spaces. The selected CMAR must coordinate its services and work with City staff and the Citys selected architectural firm for the Project, Hammel, Green, and Abrahamson, Inc. (HGA) during both the preconstruction and construction phases of the Project. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, 471.463, the City is soliciting the submittal of qualifications in response to the RFQ from firms that provide CMAR services and have a proven track record of performing as a CMAR on similar projects, which may include bidding on project work scopes as approved by the City. The Richfield City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and utilize a different project delivery form, to waive irregularities and informalities in the responses, and reserves all rights to select a CMAR in the best interests of the City.
