Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gresham, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project will improve access and safety to local destinations for pedestrians and bicyclists along the 181st/182nd corridor. It will construct new crossings, enhance existing crossings, improve Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility, install median islands and street trees, and construct buffered bike lanes on this arterial street. The project limits extend from Burnside Road to I-84 on the north, and from Stark Street to Powell Boulevard on the south. The grant is from the Federal Neighborhood Access & Equity Program. Project is included City of Gresham Fiscal Year 2024-2029. As of May 14, 2025, per owner, was included in their funded capital improvement program, in anticipation of securing grant funding for its design and construction. Unfortunately, they did not get the grant funds, so the project is not proceeding. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
