Contract No. 03524 Project Corvallis - North will perform the following work: 0.15 asphalt mill and overlay from reference post (RP) 5.3 to 8.5. 0.15 asphalt mill and overlay 50 north and south of the railroad crossing at RP 5.1. Remove the MRL at-grade railroad crossing structure, railroad crossing signals and signal foundations located at RP 5.1 and backfill with crushed aggregate course, plant mix, and embankment in place. Chip seal and fog seal the existing pavement from RP 4.8 to 12.2 (omit the fog seal through the Town of Corvallis). Crack seal and mastic crack fill from RP 4.8 to 5.1, 5.1 to 5.3, and 8.5 to 12.2, as needed. Other work will include pavement markings, signing and delineation, centerline rumble strips, median curb removal and replacement, guardrail, guardrail end section widening, revegetation, fog sealing of SUP, and ADA sidewalk upgrades to the pedestrian crossing just north of the intersection of 1st Street and Eastside Highway. The project begins at RP 4.8 and extends about 7.4 miles north along S-269 (Eastside Highway), ending at RP 12.2.
