Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project involves the reconstruction of Birch St. between S. Broad St. and S. Walnut St. (approximately 1,675 LF). The reconstruction will include the installation of a multi-use trail, sidewalk replacement, curb installation, road paving reconstruction, storm sewer installation, street lighting, and other related improvements for the full length of the road. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. This project is funded in part by a grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority Multimodal Transportation Fund and in part by the Chester County Department of Community Development Community Revitalization Program as such, requisite grant requirements apply, as further detailed in the bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range for this project is between $2M to $2.5M.
