As of May 30, 2025, per owner, design team has been identified. General contractor has not been selected yet. All proposals shall be submitted in a Sealed envelope with the proposer's name and address on the outside of the envelope and marked: "PROPOSAL: ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR MAIN STREET WITH 8TH STREET IMPROVEMENTS. SCOPE OF SERVICE The Scope of Service includes but not be limited to, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geotechnical, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Permitting, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Cost Estimates, Traffic Control Plans, Striping Plans, Bid Support, to deliver a complete set of bidding documents for the Main Street with 8th Street Improvements. The project is funded by a Grant from the Highway Safety Improvements Program (HSIP), installs traffic Signal Mast Arm Assembly, LED Safety Lighting, Curb Bulb Out, Median Curb Nose, ADA Curb Ramps, High Visibility Crosswalks, and Pavement Markings Improvements that shall comply with other requirements as per Caltrans and the City of Brawley Standards. The City of Brawley hereby notifies all proposers that it will ensure that in any contract entered into according to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award. This Request for Qualifications does not commit the City to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the proposal.
