The multi-use path (MUP) will consist of widening the south sidewalk from eight (8) feet to twelve (12) feet, installing safety barriers between the MUP and vehicular traffic, relocating existing traffic gates, structural modifications, replace the four variable frequency drive units which control the main motors including mechanical modifications, balance the bascule span, and perform certain roadway work including pavement and sidewalks.
