Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Lower Murray Park Basketball Court Replacement. All questions, requests for clarification and communications about this RFP and submission requirements must be submitted through the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website and must be received by 2:00 PM on May 10, 2024. Prospective Proposers must limit their contact regarding this RFP to the Purchasing Director or such other person otherwise designated by the Purchasing Director Scope of Work Summary. The scope of work for this Project, Lower Murray Park Basketball Court Replacement, consists of removing and properly disposing of the existing bituminous surface of the basketball court of reclaiming and recycling the bituminous material. It shall also include removing and properly disposing of the existing posts and backboards including their concrete foundations. The disturbed subbase or reclaimed surface will then be graded, compacted and prepared for construction of the new courts. New posts, backboards and hoops shall be installed, aligned and fastened in position with new concrete foundations. Forms shall be placed and secured, post tensioning cables shall be installed, and concrete shall be placed, finished and cured. After the forms have been stripped and the concrete properly cured the post tensioning cables shall be stressed as specified. The court surfaced shall then be painted with the required coverings and all disturbed areas shall be restored to a suitable condition
