Contractors are required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor. A wage determination (WD) is a set of wages, fringe benefits, and work rules that the U.S. Department of Labor has ruled to be prevailing for a given labor category in a given locality. In addition, contractors are required to pay wages not less than once a week. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the bid opening date. Approximately 1,535 SQ FT P.C.C. Sidewalk 6" Approximately 3,840 SQ FT P.C.C. Sidewalk 4" No ADA sidewalk ramps and no curb and inlet work are included in this project.
