Kennerly and Long Elementary Schools As of April 25th, 2025, this project is under construction This project will be governed by a prevailing wage determination, which will require all Contractors to pay wages and benefits consistent with local practice, as determined by the State of Missouri. BSI Constructors an ort e owner may require a 100 0 Performance and Payment Bon ort e u amount of the contract price on a form acceptable to BSI. The Surety company must be acceptable to both BSI and the Owner and have a "Best Guide" rating of "A" or better. The bond cost should NOT be included in the base bid amount. Questions during the bidding should be submitted via e-mail as follows: General questions (drawings, prebid, bid dates, etc.) to Kelly Swanson-Koester, kellys@bsistl.com. Technical questions to Jackie True at Jackie.true@bsistl.com. The construction of the new building addition and sitework will generally be executed during the 2025-2026 academic year. The renovation of the existing school building will be performed over the Summer of 2026. All required life-safety requirements must be maintained for the 2025-2026 academic year. Bidders must include any overtime or shift-work premiums necessary to meet these schedule requirements. Substantial Completion and Occupancy of the project will be by summer 2026 to allow for the start of the 2026-2027 School Year. BSI and the Owner reserve the right to waive minor technical defects in a bid, reject any or all bids, reject any part of a bid and advertise for new bids. If the scope of the project changes substantially, the district will rebid the project. The Board will determine which bidder has the lowest responsible bid and direct BSI to negotiate a satisfactory contract prior to final approval of the bid.
