Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed improvement consists of the construction of a refuge island, concrete sidewalk, ADA ramps, mill-ing and resurfacing of Reservoir Blvd, and the installation of rapid flashing beacons. All provisions regarding EEO, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and DBE and WBE requirements shall be strictly enforced. All work shall comply with the project specifications and all state and federal laws and regulations. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashiers check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. All questions shall be directed to Marcy Leach at mleach@hutchisoneng.com and received no later than Monday, August 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM. All questions shall be answered by issuing addenda no later than Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 12:00 PM. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
