Summary: SBCS is requesting Bids from firms to provide the most practical, time effective and cost-efficient solution to replace the rooftop DOAS units at Massaponax High School. CONTRACT TERM Contract Term will be from the date of Notice to Proceed through August 7, 2025. METHOD OF AWARD Contract Award will be based on the Total Bid Amount on the bid form plus any Additive Bid Items the Owner, in its discretion, decides to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose Bid provides the lowest total project cost to the Owner. QUESTIONS/INQUIRIES All technical inquiries for information should be directed to Mike Sowick, PE at Ascent Engineering Group, email: msowick@ascenteg.com All questions regarding the IFB must be received in writing by email, subject: "Questions regarding IFB #05212024-1400" on or before May 9, 2024 no later than 12:00 pm. Spotsylvania County Public Schools will not be bound by verbal responses to questions. Bidder agrees that they shall provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price if awarded a contract as a result of this bid. Either a cashier's or certified check must accompany bids or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, made payable to School Board of the County of Spotsylvania.
