Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Allenwood, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Project involves the following approximate quantities: 14,433 square yards of asphalt surface treatment, 14,433 square yards of asphalt seal coat (single seal), 56,919 square yards of asphalt seal coat (double seal), and 71,352 square yards of asphalt fog seal for asphalt seal coats . All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its supplements. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Washington Township, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Construction Performance and Payment Bonds are required in the amount of one-hundred (100) percent of the Contract as awarded. Attention is called to the fact that each Bidder shall not in any manner discriminate by reason of race, age, color, religion, gender, national origin, handicap, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or in violation of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA) and applicable federal laws, against or intimidate any its employees and/or applicants for employment. The Washington Township Board of Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Washington Township is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
