GENERAL INFORMATION The Town of Milton is requesting proposals from qualified companies for upgrades to the McGrath Water Plant Access Gate. The company's scope of work includes replacing the existing gate controller, chain, access keypad stanchion, keypad and all associated wiring and safety equipment. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled. Walkthroughs may be available to schedule. PROJECT BACKGROUND The Town of Milton owns a former water plant on McGrath Road. This plant is surrounded by chain link fence with an access gate. The gate controller is beyond repair and needs replacement as well as the keypad, associated stanchion, all associated wiring, and programming. The Scope of Work for this project includes the supply and installation of following items, but is not limited to: Item Quantity Cost Total Gate controller/opener and chain 1 New keypad stanchion 1 Access key pad 1 All associated wiring and programming 1 All safety items related to operation Questions about the project should be submitted in writing, and directed to Lisa Schaeffler at the above email address. All questions must be submitted by Wednesday May 8th, 2024 at 10AM. A response to questions will be provided as an Addendum and will be found on the Town's website. All firms must acknowledge the receipt of any addenda issued for this project. CONTRACT The company, prior to being awarded a contract, shall apply for registration with the Vermont Secretary of State's Office to do business in the State of Vermont, if not already so registered. The registration form may be obtained from the Vermont Secretary of State, 26 Terrace Street, Montpelier, VT 05609-1104. The telephone number is (802) 828-2386. The contract will not be executed until the Consultant is registered with the Secretary of State's Office. The successful Consultant will be expected to execute sub-agreements for each sub-consultant named in the proposal upon award of this contract. The Consultant understands this contract will be governed by the attached Town of Milton Standard Terms and Conditions.
