As of July 15,2024, project was awarded to Jeffrey Stack Inc, awarded amount is $300,918.50. project no.UPC118804 FHWA NO. 5A27910/5B27109 The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of 2nd / 3rd Street Bike Infrastructure, Ph 2 (UPC 118804) to provide general contracting services that include but are not limited to converting existing on-street parking into a two-way cycle track that is protected by a buffer and parked vehicles on 3rd Street from Franklin Street to Byrd Street. Bike improvement along 2nd Street starts at Spring Street to Byrd Street. In addition, the project includes bike improvement on Byrd Street from west of 2nd Street to east of 3rd Street. AWARD NO. 500785/500786 This project involves all material, labor, and equipment necessary to install pavement markings, crosswalks, signs, flexi-posts, and select intersections with corner enhancements. The project limits are: (1) 2 nd Street starts at Spring Street to Byrd Street, (2) Byrd Street from west of 2nd Street to east of 3rd Street, and (3) 3rd Street from Byrd Street to E. Franklin Street. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed Work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the proposed Contract Documents or discrepancies of any sort between existing conditions and proposed new Work, he must submit a written request for an interpretation to the Department of Procurement Services, 900 E. Broad Street Room 1104, Richmond, Virginia 23219. The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt and actual delivery by Sunday, May 19, 2024 4:00 pm. Such documents may emailed to Ross Crawford at ross.crawford@rva.gov. It is the official goal of the City or Richmond to increase the dollar value of all contracts awarded to minority business enterprise and emerging small business (MBE/ESB) contractors and subcontractors to the highest level that is reasonably achievable for any particular field of contracting. To implement this policy, the City shall encourage minority participation through subcontracting and certain business development methods in contracting for services. Please submit the attached MBE/ESB Participation Commitment Form, indicating the percentage of MBE/ESB participation you propose for this project.
