Water Treatment Facility Aqua Ammonia Scrubber Repairs. The Work consists of the removal and disposal of existing aqua ammonia vapor return piping and vapor discharge piping at the Henrico County Water Treatment Facility including installation of new vapor scrubber process piping, valves, appurtenances, vapor scrubber drain pumps, instrumentation & controls, electrical components, controls and electrical wiring, process integration, testing, and training. Additionally, the Work includes the in-kind replacement of all chemical fill manifold piping in the Chemical Offloading Bay, as specified on the Drawings. Time is of the essence, and any bidder that attempts to submit a bid after the appointed hour for submission will be unable to, as ProcureWare automatically closes the bid. The time of receipt shall be determined by the time clock in ProcureWare. Bidders are responsible for ensuring that their bid is submitted in ProcureWare by the deadline indicated. Work included in this contract shall be Substantially Complete within 270 calendar days from the date the Contract Time commences, and it shall be complete and ready for final payment within 300 calendar days from the date the Contract Time commences.
