The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, fuel, and traffic control, to include all equipment and flaggers as required per the most recent version of the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual (VWAPM) and any other incidentals necessary to meet the requirements stated within. The work shall consist of tree pruning, small tree removal, brush removal, and disposal of all generated debris, for the purpose of enhancing safety for the public. The Contractor shall be capable of commencing work within ten (10) calendar days of award of this IFB. The Contractor shall complete the work as identified and shall be responsible to mobilize the proper resources to accomplish the work by the prescribed Milestones/Completion date(s). PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From Date of award through June 15, 2025 Question Deadline 04/30/2024 at 11:00 AM ET Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be submitted in writing to nasir.chhipa@vdot.virginia.gov no later than 5 business days, prior to the closing date. The Commonwealth also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the procuring public body to be in its best interest.
