Completion Date: June 30, 2025 The work consists of installing 3826 LF of 6" and 8" water main, 2371 LF of 8" sewer main, 44 EA water & sewer services, 10 sanitary sewer manholes, 2766 LF of 12", 18", 24" and 30" storm drain pipe, 11 storm sewer manholes, 15 storm sewer inlets, gravel street installation and various incidental items. The Town of Hulett (Owner) reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities if deemed in the best interest of the town. No bid may be considered unless accompanied by the required bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid amount which amount shall be forfeited if the bidder is awarded the Contract and fails to enter into a Contract with the Owners. Successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in an amount of at least 100% of awarded contract price. Contractors shall be required to submit proof of at least three years of experience in municipal water construction and sanitary sewer construction. The proof shall consist of at least three water projects and three sewer projects completed within the last three years, along with references for each project. Any specialty subcontractors shall be required to submit proof of experience of at least three years for the specialty work to be performed. The proof shall be submitted with the bid. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction costs ranges from $1,720,000 to $1,760,000.
