This project includes reconstruction of brick street sections in the Potwin Neighborhood. Q And A Close5/3/2024 12:00 PM Project consists of Brick Street reconstruction in the Potwin Neighborhood at the general locations listed below and shown on the included Exhibits. The intent of this project is to repair extremely wavy and/or settled sections of brick pavement without damaging the existing adjacent and/or abutting sections of brick pavement, stone curb or drive approaches. The work is to be complete and ready for final acceptance/payment within 30 calendar days of the Start Work Order. By submitting a bid for this project, the Contractor is making a commitment to meet this schedule. Additional days for inclement weather will be granted at the discretion of the Project Engineer The specific area for limits of the work will be marked, (white-lined) by City of Topeka staff prior to construction. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the project quantities and acknowledges these additions/deletions may increase or decrease project quantities and Contractor compensation based on the unit prices bid. There will be no increase or decrease in unit prices associated with any addition/deletion in quantity.
