Site work for a water / sewer project in Roanoke, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Base Bid Project consists of the replacement of approximately 2,235 feet of existing water line with new 12", 8", 6", and 2" water line, installation of new service connections, and related appurtenances as shown on the Plans and as described in the Contract Documents. The project must be completed within the dates of June 10, 2024, and August 20, 2024. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All questions and technical inquiries must be submitted in writing to the Owner's primary contact, Randall Fulton (email randall.fulton@WesternVaWater.org). Bidders are referred to the Code of Virginia 54.1-1100 et seq. for contractor requirements. Bidders shall provide evidence of authorization to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia by providing the identification number issued to Bidder by the State Corporation Commission in accordance with the Code of Virginia 2.2-4311.2, Title 13.1, Title 50, or as otherwise required by law. The Authority does not discriminate against a bidder or offeror because of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, status as a service disabled veteran, or any other basis prohibited by state law relating to discrimination in employment. The Authority does not discriminate against faithbased organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia 2.2-4343.1. A Bid may be withdrawn in accordance with the Code of Virginia 2.2-4330 by giving notice in writing of Bidder's claim of right to withdraw Bid within two business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure and submitting original work papers with such notice.
