Renovation of a municipal facility in Plainview, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Description: Bids Will Be on Lump Sum Basis. Provide Labor, Materials, Services, Equipment Necessary for Completion of Work as Described in the Bidding Documents, for Each Item Below Appendix a - Base Bid (Shingle Roofs and Miscellanious Items) Appendix B - Base Bid (Metal Roofs) Bidders will be required to provide a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract to the best interests of the City. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Architect in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Architect in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all parties who are known to have received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Copies of Addenda will be made available for inspection wherever Bidding Documents are on file for that purpose. B. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
