**As of June 4, 2024, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $359,814.97** East Fallowfield Township 2024 Road Program. Question Deadline 05/06/2024 at 10:00 AM ET . The successful bidder who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay a fee of 1/3% or a minimum $100 of the contract award value. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Performance and Payment bonds or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Separate performance and payment bonds will be required for each Township. This project involves asphalt milling, superpave wearing course installation, superpave base repair, asphalt leveling, and appurtenant work. This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with PENNDOT in accordance with Section 102.01 of PENNDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, latest edition thereof. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. The Owners reserve the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
