Question Deadline 05/14/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes On-Call Engineering and Hydrogeologic Technical Support Services Valley Water seeks consultant firms to provide On-Call Engineering and Hydrogeologic Technical Support Services "as-requested" or "as-needed basis" to assist Valley Water in evaluating its imported water supply management and development projects in a timely manner. Valley Water may request services to be performed by the Consultant at any time during the term of this Agreement and by staff at different levels of experience and expertise. The requested tasks may involve hydrogeologic and engineering services to perform studies and analysis required to evaluate the feasibility of groundwater banking development and operation at selected sites in the Central Valley hydrogeologic conditions related to the determination of groundwater banking feasibility of selected sites in the Central Valley. The scope of On-Call services may include tasks and subtasks as described below, only as appropriate and necessary to accomplish Valley Water's objective for the particular Task Order. 1) Hydrogeologic Analysis of Potential Banking Sites 2) Engineering Support for Potential Banking Sites Evaluation 3) Technical Support for the Development of Water Banking Proposal Minimum Qualifications: The following qualifications are the minimum required qualifications that a Proposer must meet for a proposal to be considered responsive: o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have 10 years of experience in hydrogeologic and engineering consulting services. o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have the following certifications, licenses, or affiliations: board certified Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist or Hydrogeologist. o The Proposer shall possess knowledge of regulations and codes regarding groundwater banking, sustainable groundwater management, and shall be familiar with local conditions relating to land uses. o The Proposer shall possess a strong understanding of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act and recently completed Groundwater Sustainability Plans and datasets, as well as California's water supply systems, water rights, and o The Proposer shall be experienced with water right applications, including but not limited to, temporary permits for groundwater recharge.
