2024 Pavement and Pedestrian Improvements Project This contract provides for a 2-inch HMA over lay on North Red Street between State Route 20 and Sapp Road (approximately 3,600 ft). Overlay work will include planning and pavement markings on North Red Street. Other work elements include traffic control, temporary pavement marking, adjusting existing structures, installation of storm structures, and curb ramp upgrades. The project also includes planning and a 2-inch HMA overlay of Portobello Avenue between North Fruit dale Road and East Gateway Heights Loop / Arrezo Drive (approximately 900ft). Overlay work will include planning, placement of paving fabric, pavement markings, and curb ramp upgrades. In addition, this contract provides for sidewalk installation, pavement markings, and curb ramp upgrades on State Street from between Central Avenue and the Sedro-Woolley Senior Center (approximately 400ft). The contract also provides for sidewalk installation, pavement markings ,and curb ramp upgrades on Nelson Street from 6thStreet to 7th Street (approximately 500 ft). The project also includes several sidewalk panel and driveway replacements, and curb ramp upgrades in the Sedro-Woolley Central Business District. This project is subject to all applicable Prevailing Wage statutes and regulations. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sedro-Woolley.
