This Invitation to Bid is issued for the purpose of securing qualified contractors to install a new Aeration system to two of the City of Palm Coast's MGT main feed lines. Question Deadline 05/23/2024 at 2:00 PM ET . GENERAL: This work will include the following: o Unloading the equipment from the trucks and set in place. o The cost of crane must to be included. o Equipment will require mounting to the pad and hurricane strapping to the pad using S.S. hardware. o All piping from existing 12" feed line to be piped into new equipment as per the drawing provided below using all 316 Stainless steel pipes. o All piping is above ground and will require S.S. screw type pipe jack stands. o All pipes must be disinfected before installed. o All hardware will be of 316 S.S. o Butterfly valves, valves, and gasket material must be NSF approved. o Project will include room for any onsite modification that may need to be made. o Project will include any and all electrical installed from Plant MCC to new equipment following equipment Specs and NEC codes. o Grounding system must be installed as per NEC codes and a grounding test must be performed with proof of passing test. o All permits and inspections for the project are to be included. o All water quality sampling will be included in the cost of the project. o All samples must pass before entering the current water system. o On site visit is required before submitting bid. Question Deadline: May 23rd at 2PM Additional Scope: 1.) Electrical wiring will need to include aluminum piping any strapping and wires from the control boxes up to the j-boxes on top of the unit for each pump. Unistrut mounted for pipe straps will need to be glued to tank, (DO NOT DRILL INTO TANK). 2.) Any equipment supplied by others that is not part of the fiberglass tank will need to be installed by the contractor. (Valves, check valves, ball valves, reducers, control cabinets, piping) 3.) Unit blower will need to have ducting installed from blower motor unit to top of tank. Piping should be as per drawings provided using PVC pipe and include all strapping. 4.) Overflow port on back of tank will need PVC pipe installed downwards with 316 S.S. screen installed on end to keep out foreign material. 5.) NOTE: new drawing shows electrical equipment mounted on stand-alone rack, we will be mounting equipment on 1-5/8" X 1- 5/8" S.S. Unistrut across the front of tank, bolted to taps provided. 6.) Tank and all equipment will need to bolted down to concrete and concrete pads installed for pipe supports.
