Intent to Bid Due Date: Jul 17th 2025, 2:00 PM CDT This project is located in Leonard, Texas adjacent to the Leonard Water Treatment Plant. This project consists of the construction of a 210 million gallon storage reservoir which will be located adjacent to the existing Leonard Terminal Storage Reservoir. The project will involve the construction of three earthen embankment sections, utilizing the existing embankment on the existing reservoir for the fourth embankment section. The reservoir will have a lining system which will be covered with soil cement and an underdrain system. The project will include concrete encased inlet and outlet pipes, and connection to an existing pipeline. Other construction items include valves, miscellaneous piping, electrical, instrumentation, SCADA items, access roads and miscellaneous equipment. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals is/are expected to be funded in part by a loan or grant from the Texas Water Development Board. Neither the state of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees are or will be a party to this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals or any resulting contract. Questions Due Date: 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 Performance and Payment Bonds are required, each in an amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials.
