The City of Davis is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide geotechnical engineering and materials testing on-call services for general municipal engineering services performed in a prompt, professional and workmanlike manner and in accordance with the standards of the profession. All work, unless otherwise specified, shall be provided on a time and materials basis, and completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer within the time periods allocated, as agreed to at the beginning of the assignment. In general, the Proposer shall perform geotechnical engineering and materials testing services on an "on call or as-needed" basis for various projects assigned by the City during the term of the agreement. The Proposer shall have demonstrated expertise and experience in the areas of geotechnical engineering, materials testing, soils analysis, and methods for achieving compaction specifications per City Standards and the Quality Assurance Program (QAP).
