Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Davis, sealed bids for a lump-sum contract are invited for the following Work: Chemistry Alteration 1, Project Number: 9532400 / AC-0081 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK The ChemistryAlterations #1 Project will renovate approximately 6,000 square feet of existing space in the Chemistry Main and ChemistryAnnex buildings. The Project will renovate existing areas that include, but is not limited to the supply chain management and storeroom, reconfiguration of an existing glass shop and office space to accommodate an exit pathway to the outside, relocation of an existing machine shop in the Annex building to the Chemistry Main building, remodel of an existing warm shell lobby space, remodel of an existing general purpose storage, new office space, and huddle rooms. The Project will also include reconfigure of existing exterior walkways, landscaping, and outdoor patio. Chemistry Main and Chemistry Annex buildings are among a cluster of mid-century modern science buildings at the heart of the campus. Other buildings in this District include Bainer Hall, the Physical Sciences & Engineering Library, Roessler Hall and the Physics Building. The Work shall include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, excavation, shoring, testing, inspection, commissioning, and all necessary general conditions that may be reasonably inferred from the Contract Documents to deliver the project.
