Project Description: The Town of Palm Beach, Florida ("The Town") is hereby requesting professional coastal consultants to submit their qualifications to assist with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permit application process in order to place beach compatible material or sand on the beach or in the water as fill in the south end of Reach 4 and most of Reach 5 portions of beach during the next regularly scheduled Mid-Town beach renourishment project, in approximately eight years. The limits of Reach 4 beach coastline are from Via Bethesda to 270 Feet South of Banyan Road, FDEP Range Monument R-95 TO R-102+300, which is approximately 8,065 feet of beach. The limits of Reach 5 beach coastline are from 270 Feet South of Banyan Road to 170 Feet North of Widener's Curve, FDEP Range Monument R-102+300 to R-110+100, which is approximately 9,065 feet of beach. The proposed limits to be permitted for this project scope extend from Banyan Road to Southern Boulevard, about 5,400 feet of beach. The Town's desire is to acquire the aforementioned permit to place sand in the water or on the beach as fill for renourishment.
