Replacement of failing water system components to improve water conditions at Richmond National Battlefield Park. Replacement of failing water system will include all related equipment, appurtenances, controls, and devices. DESCRIPTION A. Work of this Contract consists of the replacement of failing water system components to improve water conditions at Richmond National Battlefield Park; Richmond, VA 23223. Replacement of failing water system will include all related equipment, appurtenances, controls, and devices. B. Contractor is required to provide all labor, supervision, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, all supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental to or necessary for the Project. C. Work shall be carried out as specified herein and as required by field conditions and applicable regulatory requirements. In general, the Work consists of, but may not be limited to, the following: 1. Maintenance Building Remove existing system and install new auto backwash sediment filter, iron filter, chemical feed system, and pH neutralized. Provide associate valves, gauges, and meters. 2. Park Residence Remove existing system and install new auto backwash sediment filter, iron filter, chemical feed system, and pH neutralized. Provide associate valves, gauges, and meters. 3. Visitor Center Replace domestic water line to the Visitor center. Update fire suppression system. Remove existing system and install new pressure tank, auto backwash sediment filter, iron filter, chemical feed system, and pH neutralized. Provide associate valves, gauges, and meters.
