It is the intent of this Invitation to bid to secure a Contractor for the masonry repair and preservation of a WPA Stage, including both North and South Arms and Pylons located in Union Terrace Park for The Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation. This transition will improve the flow of vendor information and transparency; bid results will be available immediately upon opening. Unsigned bids will not be accepted. No bid may be considered if received after the time shown on Page 1. Contractors are expected to examine all instructions, specifications, drawings, sites, installation, etc. Failure to do so will be at the Contractor's risk. Erasures or other changes must be initialed by the person signing the bid. Submissions must include a scanned copy of the Bid Bond as stated above through Public Purchase in the appropriate drop down. Sealed bids must be received by the date and time specified on Page 1 of this Invitation to Bid. Late bids will not be accepted. Any bid received after the exact date and time specified for receipt will not be considered. In order to ensure fair bidding practices, the City of Allentown will not be responsible for late submissions for reasons outside of its control (i.e. technical issues, third party delivery failure, etc.). Please note: the City will not accept the unilateral changes/amendment made to the Bid/RFP/Quote at the time of submission. At said time the City reserves the right, pursuant to section 1.5.2, to reject any or all offers and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. The PROPOSAL PAGE must be completed and submitted through Public Purchase. Other Forms must be completed and uploaded to Public Purchase. Bids must be accompanied by the Signature Page.
