All bids must be properly marked and sealed in accordance with this "Invitation to Bid." Bids must be delivered and received at the City Clerk's office by the above-stated time, regardless of delivery method, including U.S. Mail. The City Clerk will read the bids out loud from the Clerk's office. Individuals can stand in the lobby outside the Clerk's office during the bid opening to hear the bid results. The contract consists of the delivery and supply of motor control equipment for the City of Kent Horseshoe Storm Pump Station. Installation will be performed by others. Each bid shall be in accordance with specifications and other contract documents now on file in the office of the Deputy Director of Public Works Operations, City of Kent. The City of Kent reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or waive any informalities in the bidding and shall determine which bid or bidder is the most responsive, satisfactory and responsible bidder and shall be the sole judge thereof. Bidders must submit with their initial bid a signed statement as to whether they have previously performed work subject to the President's Executive Order No. 11246. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the day the bids are opened. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
