Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a stadium; for site work for a stadium; for paving for a stadium; road / highway; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The purpose of this Request For Proposal (RFP) and accompanying specifications are to provide instructions and assistance in submitting an offer to provide Routt County professional architectural design services related to planned construction of multi-phased projects located at the historic Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden, Colorado. The County seeks to retain professional services inclusive of Schematic Design, Design Development and 100% Construction Documents. The objective is to have a fully executed Routt County Agreement Regarding Provision of Professional Services by June 18, 2024 o Remodel of Existing North Restroom The existing north restroom is located behind the grandstands. This is a sound CMU structure with an interior slab on grade. Currently it is not in use and will need a complete interior demo, an ADA compliant entry and a new interior layout to include new fixtures and finishes. It will also need to house an existing and re configured water entry service assembly. o Replace Existing Lean To The existing Lean To is located adjacent to the track. Due to the age of the structure and safety concerns the existing lean to will need to be demolished and rebuilt in kind. The lean to is used for livestock housing, non-certified livestock scale, storage and paid camper/RV parking. Additional design requirements of the lean to shall also include; remediation of drainage issues at the adjacent track and RV parking area, demolishing existing non-certified scale building and upgrading the existing electrical service. o New Equipment Maintenance Shop While not a part of the Master Plan, there has long been a great need for a year around maintenance shop. This shop will serve as a heated and dry space to perform inside maintenance, repair and storage for all fair equipment from lawn mowers to skid steers, tractors and arena drags. The proposed shop will be built on the old Quonset hut slab. The existing slab/foundation will need to be reinforced to support a pre-manufactured metal building. The building design, along with structural, energy and mechanical aspects shall be in accordance with applicable City, County, State and Federal regulations and be of sufficient detail that competitive bids from metal building manufactures can be solicited. Minimal site grading and a hard surface entry apron with a 16' x 12' overhead door shall be included in the design to make the building accessible for vehicular traffic For questions or further information please contact Julie Kennedy, Purchasing Specialist jkennedy@co.routt.co.us Direct Phone Number: 970-870-5316 e. However, 32 megabytes is the maximum amount of data Routt County can receive in any one email. Sometimes this may necessitate more than one email by the Offeror or elimination of high megabyte unnecessary graphics. It is up to the Offeror to ensure emails do not exceed this limit and must confirm receipt of email by Routt County prior to due date and time. An email sent but not received by the due date and time will not be considered. If proposal response is submitted electronically Routt County will not be responsible for the security of the response from an Offeror from others. f) Routt County advocates open and fair competition among suppliers and contractors to provide the best goods and services for Routt County and its citizens. The County prohibits discrimination based on political affiliation, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, handicap, disability, veteran status or genetic information in all business transactions, purchases and contracts. g) The failure or omission of an Offeror to acquaint himself/herself with existing conditions shall in no way relieve him/her of any obligation with respect to this RFP or to the contract. h) Proprietary information from competing Offerors shall not be disclosed to the public or to competitors. i) Offeror must clearly mark any material considered to be confidential and will be treated as such by Routt County to the extent permitted by law. All questions must be received, in writing, before 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time May 24, 2024, and shall be directed only to Routt County Purchasing Specialist Julie Kennedy at jkennedy@co.routt.co.us. Answers to questions received that would change and/or clarify this solicitation will be provided in writing, via an addendum to all firms that have received the original RFP after the date for questions has expired. In this way, we hope to eliminate multiple addendums.
