SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected firm will be required to incorporate a current furniture inventory into a design for additional furniture required to meet the needs of the City Hall facility. The selected firm will procure, store, deliver and install furniture within the City's State Street City Hall Facility located at 300 E. State Street, Redlands, CA 92373. All furniture procurement must be available through Cooperative, Intergovernmental and/or Piggyback purchasing agreements. The selected proposer is responsible for selecting fabric/material that is considered suitable for this type of facility. Information to be provided to awarded proposer: Space Programming Floor Plan Database that identifies location and condition of existing assets that are to be considered for reuse in the new City Hall Facility. Background The project is currently in the design phase and construction is scheduled for substantial completion in the first quarter of 2026. Installation of furnishings and occupancy is scheduled to occur between February and May 2026. All work, unless otherwise specified, shall be performed on a time and materials basis, and completed to the satisfaction of the City of Redlands within the time periods allocated, or as mutually agreed to at the beginning of the assignment. The existing building is a six-story office building. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is scheduled for substantial completion in the first quarter of 2026. Installation of furnishings and occupancy is scheduled to occur between February and May 2026. This RFP does not commit the City to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred for any services. The City, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this RFP, to negotiate with any qualified source, or to cancel this RFP in part or its entirety, and to waive minor irregularities in any proposal. RIGHT OF REJECTION The City of Redlands reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, reserve the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposal or examination process, reserve the right to select low proposal per item, and reserve the right to award proposals and/or contracts in the best interest of the City.
