Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ashland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of July 16, 2024, the project was awarded to but the awarded amount is not available. The Town of Washburn is requesting sealed bids for asphalt work on Forest Road 251 (Wannebo Road). Part A of the bid starts at Pajala Road heading west on FR 251 for a distance of 1900 feet. Part A includes the existing asphalt being pulverized, then adding 4 inches of compacted crushed aggregate to the full width of 20 feet, then finishing with 3 inch overlay of asphalt hot mix being placed and compacted with a width of 20 feet. Part A shall be bid as lump sum. Part A shall be bid separate. Part B of the bid starts at the end of Part A and continues west on FR 251. Part B includes a 3 inch overlay of asphalt hot mix, with a width of 20 feet, and compacted over the existing asphalt surface. The existing surface shall be prepared by milling and/or wedging. The existing surface shall be cleaned and tack coated prior to overlay. Part B shall be bid in the number of linear feet of asphalt that will be placed. Part B shall be bid separate.
