The City of Kirkwood is requesting sealed bids for Rayner Road and Taylor Young Drive Water Main Replacement for the City's Water Department, in accordance with the specifications contained herein. The Bidder agrees that if this Proposal is accepted and upon the City's issuance of a Notice to Proceed, he shall complete the said work within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, and that should he fail to complete the work in the time specified or such additional time as may be allowed by the Water Superintendent under the Contract, the amount of liquidated damages to be recovered shall be Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) per calendar day. The Bidder further represents that he has visited and examined the site of the proposed construction and has carefully examined the Contract Documents, which include the Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid Proposal, Performance Bond, General Conditions, Special Provisions, and Detailed Specifications. Question Deadline 05/22/2024 at 5:00 PM CT The Bidder proposes and agrees, if this Proposal is accepted, to execute the Contract and perform all its terms, covenants, and conditions, all in strict conformity with the Specifications and other Contract Documents and that he will accept in full payment therefor certified by the Director of Procurement. The Bidder guarantees that the bid bond submitted with this proposal is from a surety that is authorized to do business in the State of Missouri and is authorized to issue bonds in the State of Missouri.
