The City-County of Butte-Silver Bow (BSB) is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the removal of 175 dead or dying trees located at Stodden Park and work must be completed within five years. The project aims to address safety concerns and improve the aesthetic appeal, and health of the park environment. This project is funded through a United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service Inflation Reduction Act grant. All Bids must be accompanied by an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Bid Proposed in the form of (a) lawful monies of the United States; (b) a cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft, in any case drawn and issued by a National Banking Association located in the State of Montana; (c) a bid bond or bonds executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana. These securities will be forfeited to the Butte-Silver Bow Government as liquidated damages if the requirements in the way of contract are not entered into within fifteen (15) days after the date of award by the Council of Commissioners. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS 1. Any Bidder may withdraw his Bid at any time prior to the scheduled final closing time for receipt of Bids. 2. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after scheduled closing time.
