Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Coventry, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of pedestrian safety improvements at the Town of Coventry Miller Richardson Park located on Route 31 in Coventry, Connecticut. The Contractor shall be responsible for but not limited to: maintaining overall site conditions, maintaining permanent access roads, installing and maintaining erosion control measures, and restoration of the site. The work shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the "State of Connecticut Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads, Bridges and Incidental Construction, Form 818, 2020" including all Supplemental Specifications, and the project specifications. The perspective bidder shall make themselves aware of the project area prior to submitting bids. Bidder Contract Compliance Monitoring Report in the manual for bid submittal. Bidders are requested to notify the Town Engineer if they are a prospective bidder. Funding provided by the State of Connecticut Urban Act Grant administered by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). 6.25% M/W/DisBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO. The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject all bids, or to waive any technical defects, and to make an award to the party determined to be the lowest cost, responsive and responsible bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
