Site work for a water / sewer project in Coventry, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project involves the installation of drainage infrastructure along the shoulder of Main Street and said restoration to existing conditions unless otherwise noted. The Town of Coventry has obtained a COOT Encroachment Permit. The Bidder shall account for COOT Encroachment Permit conditions. The perspective bidder shall make themselves aware of the project area prior to submitting bids. Bidder shall utilize the bid form, 10% bid bond, projected contractor's schedule, qualifications of bidder, and non-collusion forms in the manual. The Town desires to complete the work this year but is flexible if delayed to Spring 2025. The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject all bids, or to waive any technical defects, and to make an award to the party determined to be the lowest cost, responsive and responsible bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. For further information, call the Town Engineer at 860 742-4078 or email tpenney@coventry-ct.gov.
