Estimated value is $100,000 to $400,000. The project consists of placement of approximately 8,500 tons of 3/4" Class II aggregate base along the landside patrol road adjacent to the levees. All material will be imported from off-site by truck. The contractor shall: perform foundation preparation; furnish equipment, materials, labor, and construction materials specification (quality control testing); and, reconstruct the gravel landside patrol road. The landside patrol roads that require repair are along the Sacramento River East Levee (approximately 12 feet wide for a total length of approximately 2.25 miles), and along the Natomas Cross Canal South Levee (approximately 15 feet wide for a total length of approximately 2.25 miles).
