Work under this Contract will be issued on an on-call, work order basis. Work consists of general liner repair services, including but not limited to repair or replacement, and installation of landfill cover systems that may require cutting, grinding, heat sealing and vacuum and pressure testing of landfill liner materials, pipe penetration boot welding and repair with vacuum. Not-to-Exceed Contract Price: $500,000 Work site: Work will be performed at various King County Solid Waste facilities located throughout Washington, primarily at Cedar Hills Regional Landfill (CHRLF). The work performed under this Contract shall not exceed $500,000 and the initial Contract Time shall not exceed 365 calendar days from the date of Contract Execution by the County. The County does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or that the dollar amount of the Work Orders issued will total $500,000 during the duration of this Contract. At the County's sole discretion, this Contract may be extended for one additional year or until the Not to Exceed Contract Price is reached, whichever occurs first. The County shall review all Work Orders issued under this Contract with an estimated value equal to or greater than $150,000 to establish a specific required or aspirational level of participation by Certified Firms, Apprentices and or Priority Workers. Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference is not scheduled. Subcontracting Opportunities: Welding and Vinyl Seaming Apprenticeship Requirements: 3% minimum Apprentice Utilization Requirement of the total labor hours worked during the contract. SCS Utilization Requirements: 3% minimum requirement for King County Certified Small Contractors and Suppliers (SCS) for the total price of all executed Work Orders. Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price.
