Renovation of a power facility in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
A. The scope of work is intended to give an overview of the Work and is not inclusive of all the Work necessary to complete the project. B. The Work location is 76 North Power Plant Loop, Richland, WA 99354, inside the Radiological Controlled Area (RCA) of a nuclear power generating facility. C. Contractor key personnel shall attend a mandatory 2-day Safety Summit at Energy Northwest prior to the start of a Refuel Outage. D. Contractor shall provide qualified, trained, and experienced personnel to perform the HCU refurbishment in accordance with Columbia's procedures. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Accumulator replacements, 2. Directional control valve replacement, 3. Actuator soft parts replacements, 4. Solenoid valve replacements, and 5. Valve refurbishment. E. Energy Northwest will provide tools, replacement parts, applicable components, and materials. F. Personnel supplied shall have the highest standards in the areas of nuclear safety, industrial safety, human performance, and overall productivity, at the request of the Technical Representative or designee.
