The Fort Mill School District is requesting a contractor to supply all equipment and materials required to remove and replace the gas pipes to nine (9) science classrooms on the E-Hallway at Fort Mill High School. The Fort Mill School District is requesting a contractor to supply all equipment and materials required to remove and replace the gas pipes to nine (9) science classrooms on the E-Hallwayat Fort Mill High School. This project will need to be completed between the dates of June 17th and June 28th , 2024. Scope of Work on Replacement of gas pipes. - Mobilization of all tools, equipment, materials and installation technicians - The scope of work is to re-feed underground gas piping to overhead at 9 Science Classrooms, add new emergency shutoff switches at each classroom and provide new gas fixtures where indicated in drawings. (See 1/8” Scale Plans for Details) - Demolition Notes: The plumbing contractor shall visit site prior to beginning work to determine the level of demolition required and include all necessary pricing in their bid. It is the plumbing contractor’s responsibility to field verify all existing piping, any discrepancies between existing conditions and plumbing plans should be brought to the attention of the engineer. - See stamped drawings for Alternates and Materials and Notes. - Plumbing contractor is responsible for all final gas connections to lab equipment. Coordinate with lab equipment supplier. See lab equipment drawings and lab equipment specifications for additional plumbing requirements. - Project will need to be done in coordination with the installation of new case work in the classrooms. Rough in’s to be completed prior to installation of the new countertops and final connections to be made after cabinet installation is complete. - Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of any old gas piping and other debris/trash created during the plumbing project
