OYCP Chiller Replacement Construction cost for bonding purposes only is estimated to be $290K to $340K for Base Bid and Alternates. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Replace existing air-cooled chiller unit thats at or beyond its expected useful life of +-25 Years. Existing unit is estimated to be installed in Mid-1990 and is manufactured by Carrier Model 30GXN160-A-640HX with nominal cooling capacity of 160-tons estimated to deliver approximate capacity of 115-tons due to the system's use of water with 30% propylene glycol as the hydronic fluid.
