Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Bend, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Specific work under this contract will consist of replacing the private portion of the existing lead water services (from curb-stop to the meter inside the building) with a 1.25-Inch highdensity polyethylene (HDPE) tubing on 7th Avenue (from Walnut Street to Washington Street) and 8th Avenue (from Chestnut Street to Washington Street). All disturbed areas will be restored to existing or better conditions. The estimated quantities as indicated above and in the Bid Proposal are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. The City of West Bend, Wisconsin, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time of opening bids. No bid will be received unless accompanied by an uploaded Bid Bond or electronic Surety2000 bid bond equal to 5% of the bid, payable to the City of West Bend, Wisconsin, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the successful bidder will execute and file the contract and payment and performance assurances, forming a part of the Specifications, within 10 days after the award of the contract. The payment and performance assurances must be for an amount at least equal to the contract price and must be in the form of a bond, an irrevocable letter of credit, or an escrow account acceptable to the City. In case the bidder fails to file such contract, performance bond, and payment bond, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages (Section 62.15(3) of Wisconsin Statutes).
