Description: Submit a proposal for the Sloped Walkway portion of the renovations of the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center, located at 1 Waterside Drive, in downtown Norfolk, Virginia 23510. In addition to the Sloped Walkway, there are three other major portions to the project. Construction documents are not currently available for these phases: 1. Site Alterations/Vehicular Loop - Arrival Plaza 2. Waiting Room Addition - Enclosing of Second Floor Balcony 3. Customs and Border Protection - Renovations to Existing Facilities A complete set of Permit Plans, for the Sloped Walkway is available in our electronic plan room. There are no specifications. Should you not find the basis of design for products and materials, for your scope of work, within the drawings please submit a RFI as soon as possible. To facilitate the construction of the Sloped Walkway the following demolition must occur; escalator, fire protection relocation, plumbing relocation, hydronic piping relocation, electrical lighting demo/relocation, ductwork demo/relocation, a "bank" of electrical conduits which will have to be relocated and security, fire alarm & data relocation. The anticipated project start date is July 2024, with December 2024 substantial completion date. There may be an opportunity to begin some of the demolition work in June 2024. A milestone schedule is included in the plan room. All proposals shall clearly outline the scope of work represented by the proposal and be in accordance with the bid documents. Where specific products have been identified, proposals shall be based on the identified product (no substitutions). However, substitutions may be offered as a Voluntary Alternate. Consideration will also be made to any Voluntary Cost Savings proposals.
